Eight UP cops out to nab dreaded criminal killed in firing in Kanpur

Eight cops died after they were fired upon by criminals during a raid in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur district early on Friday. Slain cops included a deputy superintendent of police, three sub-inspectors. Firing took place in Bikru village under Kanpur's Chaubepur police station area. Incident also left four constables dead. UP CM Yogi Adityanath paid tribute to slain cops who died on duty. He has asked DGP to take toughest of action against those responsible.
