Rolex watches are a potent status symbol, but they're frequently the target of thieves. The last twelve months have seen a dramatic increase in watch thefts, particularly of Rolexes and particularly in the Los Angeles area. Now, LA's ultra-wealthy are wearing fake Rolexes to combat this trend.
