LADDER TO SUCCESS 3 - Agility Drill for Ages 6-9. English FA coach, Neil McKay, teaches you a more advanced Ladder drill with lateral movements to build running form and coordination in younger players. Turn to one side, while pumping your arms, move laterally placing the ball of each foot into the gaps in the ladder. Be sure to keep your head up, hit the gaps and get accuracy before speed. Turn the other direction and repeat the drill leading with the opposite foot first. Practice 2-3 times per week for 5-10 minutes to improve running form.
