The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) left it late but somehow stumbled to victory over the Delhi Capitals (DC) in IPL 2021 Qualifier 2 to advance to the final. They will now meet the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Dubai on Friday, October 15. Bowling first, KKR restricted DC to 135/5 in 20 overs. In response, openers Venkatesh Iyer (55) and Shubman Gill (46) put on 96 runs for the opening stand to set up the game. However, DC bagged 6 wickets for 7 runs to drag the game into the final over. Eventually, Rahul Tripathi smashed a six on the second-last ball to take KKR to the final with three wickets and one ball to spare.
