Kamala Harris is pointing the finger at President Donald Trump and the war in Iran for high gas prices in a new social media post. In a video shared to her X account April 15, the former Vice President claimed the current commander in chief and the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East are to blame for oil now being over $100 a barrel. However many were quick to point out that in 2022 Harris was fine with American wallets getting hit at the pump amid the war in Ukraine, saying at the time that high gas costs were “a price to pay for democracy.”
