The Anthropocene era: Scientists identify new geologic epoch in Canadian lake

A special team of scientists has identified a new geologic epoch. They say it began somewhere between 1950 and 1954 and is distinguished by the effects that humans have had on the planet. FRANCE 24's Charlotte Hughes and Noémie Roche explains.
