The startup transforming household garbage into scaleable energy

With almost one-third of the world's waste dumped across South East Asia, Brisbane-based startup Cyclion has focused on the region for the roll-out of its next generation waste-to-energy plants. When its first three projects are completed, the technology will process 900 tonnes of waste every day across the Philippines to produce over 52 million litres of fuel per year. CEO PHILIP MAJOR explains how Cyclion utilises the latent energy housed in mixed-waste materials to convert it into clean, renewable and profitable energy.
