At the nomination hearing for Biden's pick for Associate Attorney General Vanita Gupta, Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) reminded Gupta that she wrote in 2018 that the Senate should reject an apology from judicial nominee Ryan Bounds for some of his past remarks while a student at Stanford University, and wondered if the same standard should be applied to her for her past remarks.
