Many work at the center of complex social issues and in stressful environments that don’t allow for self-reflection or self-care. As a result, many young activists may experience burnout, serious health issues, or breakdowns in relationships. This session will explore the important but often overlooked connection between inner well-being and leading effective social change. It will explore the growing evidence that personal well-being lies at the heart of addressing systemic social challenges and profile the stories of young activists and entrepreneurs around the world promoting youth mental health and well-being.
