Multiple People Charged In Connection With Matthew Perry's Death

Several individuals have been charged in connection with the accidental overdose death of actor Matthew Perry. Perry, 54, was found dead in his pool at his Pacific Palisades home in Los Angeles. The LA County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the acute effects of ketamine as the cause of the actor's death. At least one individual has been arrested in Southern California and federal prosecutors are expected to reveal details soon. Perry had been undergoing ketamine infusion therapy to treat symptoms of depression and anxiety, but his last session was a week before his death. The levels of the drug found in his body were high, comparable to the amount typically used for general anesthesia during surgery.
