[The Artifical Wage] was the grand prize winner in C-SPAN Classroom's StudentCam documentary contest. The video was produced by Anna Gilligan Katie Demos, and Michael Lozovoy, eighth graders at the School for the Creative and Performing Arts (SCAPA) Bluegrass in Lexington, Kentucky.The local cable company was Time Warner.  C-SPAN Classroom's StudentCam video documentary contest is an annual national competition in which middle and high school students produce a documentary on a specific theme. "The Three Branches and You" was the 2015 theme, with contestants asked to tell a story that demonstrates how a policy, law, or action had affected them or their community.
