A US Customs and Border Protection officer opened fire at another driver during a road rage incident near JFK Airport early Tuesday, authorities and sources said. The federal officer said the other motorist began assaulting him after the two got into a fender-bender around 4:50 a.m. on the southbound Van Wyck Expressway, near the entrance to the airport’s central terminal, according to Port Authority Police and law enforcement sources.
