Having just returned from her chaotic experience on Broadway, Kristen is looking for a little home town comfort in Rust Creek Falls. Ryan, an entertainment lawyer, is in town in hopes of signing a reluctant internet singing star. When they initially meet, Kristen thinks that Ryan is a rancher and not a big city lawyer type. Throughout the year, Ryan returns to Rust Creek Falls for business and gets to know the small town and its people. Kristen and Ryan become closer during these visits and Kristen might even change her mind about big city guys.
