Are we closer than ever to nuclear war?

In a surprise announcement during an oval office meeting with Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu on April 7, President Trump teased nuclear talks with one of the US’ largest adversaries – Iran. In 2018, Trump famously withdrew from the Obama-era Iran nuclear deal, calling it a “one-sided deal that should have never, ever been made.” So where does the US currently stand with Iran on nuclear weapons? Who has nukes? And who should we be worried about?
