Gwyneth Paltrow’s legal battle for hitting an optometrist whilst skiing caught worldwide attention - now a musical has been made out of it. 'Gwyneth Goes Skiing' will star Linus Karp as Paltrow and Terry Sanderson, the optometrist hit in 2016, will be played by Joseph Martin. According to Variety, the show will also feature original music by singer and songwriter Leland, known for 'RuPaul’s Drag Race.' Sanderson filed a suit against the 'Avengers' star after their collision, claiming he was left with a concussion, four broken ribs and a brain injury. He aimed to obtain $3.1 million in compensation, however, Paltrow argued that it was he who skied into her and counter-sued for $1 and attorney fees. "She’s the Goop-founding, Door-Sliding, Shakespeare-In-Loving, consciously-uncoupling Hollywood superstar. He’s a retired Optometrist from Utah. In 2016, they went skiing", reads the 'Gwyneth Goes Skiing' logline. 'Gwyneth Goes Skiing' will be at the London Pleasance Theatre for a 10-day run from Dec. 13.
