Morning weather forecast for Nov. 26, 2024

Valley rain and mountain snow increasing today as a moisture-rich storm moves in from the west. There have been areas of "shadowing" and less rain activity this morning namely Tooele and Salt Lake Valleys, exepect this to start to fill in later today. The bullseye of this storm system will be in central Utah where the mountains could push over 30" of snow by the end of Wednesday. Generally timing with this storm system is today through early Wednesday morning, by Wednesday afternoon it should be good traveling. Valley totals .25-.75" and mountains generally 12-24" with lesser amounts toward the Idaho border and higher amounts near the Tushar Mountains. Matt Johnson - KSL Weather 11.26.24
