Health Care Costs

The Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee held a hearing on health care costs. Health care executives testified on providing quality health care and costs to consumers and later answered questions posed by members on ways for better transparency within the industry, working with doctors and insurance companies, and creating ways for patients to have more access to compare cost information through websites and mobile apps.
