'New vaccine to spray in nose': PM Modi on ongoing India research | Covid

While addressing the nation on June 7, Prime Minister Narendra Modi commented briefly on new vaccines being developed in the country against Covid-19. Without taking any names, he mentioned an intranasal vaccine which is currently in the works. Bharat Biotech, which developed the country's first indigenous vaccine Covaxin, is creating the nasal inoculant. PM Modi said that such a vaccine, which wouldn't require injection and instead be sprayed inside the nose, would be an accelerator in India's immunisation programme. Watch the full video for more.
