V Foundation grant helps UPMC doctor research childhood liver cancer

Through a grant from the V Foundation, UPMC's Dr. Edward Prochownik is seeking to isolate the gene mutations that cause widely differing survival rates in hepatoblastoma, or childhood liver cancer.
