Crowds watch as the Brexit Vote is read at the Commons

Police were forced to seperate Leave and Remain campaigners outside Parliament tonight as tensions briefly threatened to boil over in the aftermath of the government’s Brexit defeat. It came as pro-EU supporters rejoiced at the Commons vote.
