The owner of a Whittlesey restaurant has gone viral after sharing his confusion at being in both tier two or three - depending on which side of the road he stands. In the video, which has been viewed 2,700 times since it was posted to social media, John McGinn, who runs the Dog In A Doublet, takes a walk across the road from his restaurant with his dog Rachel. Mr McGinn adds that he will have to cancel 300 bookings for the next two weeks and therefore lose more than £20,000 of trade. Shocked by the lack of clarity, he says: “Really unfortunate for us, by 10 metres we’re in tier three. “Good luck to everyone in tier two.”
