Historian Gretchen Skidmore and journalist Denise Kiernan talked about how women's roles changed during World War II, from joining the war effort as part of the workforce to using their social and political influence to help European Jews and refugees. The U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum and the National Women's History Museum co-hosted this event.
