T'puram: The Finance Minister in the state budget 2019 has announced 25 projects in connection with rebuilding the flood-ravaged state. Rs. 4700 crore has been allotted to overcome the aftermath of the flood. Welfare pensions have been increased to Rs. 1200. The Government also allotted Rs. 100 crore for the Travancore Devaswom Board as there were reports stating revenue loss for Sabarimala shrine following the controversies over women entry.
