Nicola Sturgeon hails 'positive news' as vaccine arrives in Scotland

The jab arrived in Scotland over the weekend ahead of the beginning of plans to inoculate the most vulnerable in the country this week. It comes as the toughest coronavirus restrictions in place in Scotland will be eased this week. The 11 local authorities in Level 4 will be moved to another level as planned.Scotland has recorded one death from coronavirus and 677 positive tests in the past 24 hours, it brings the death toll under this measure – of people who first tested positive for the virus within the previous 28 days – to 3,917.
