However, despite this frequency, 61% of respondents expressed a desire for a more fulfilling sex life, even in serious relationships. Interestingly, the study found that intercourse was the least common sexual activity, with kissing, foreplay, and cuddling taking precedence. One in seven individuals wished sex lasted longer, with men desiring extended intercourse, and women longing for more kissing. Surprisingly, half of those in serious relationships admitted to occasionally thinking about someone else during sex. While 73% of respondents feel confident about reading their partner's satisfaction, only 18% "always" achieve orgasm during sex. According to researchers, open discussions and empathy are vital for achieving satisfying sexual experiences.
