A woman who has one of the rarest skin conditions in the world, which affects just 20 people globally, is opening up about her life – and how she’s learned to love her rare appearance. Nathalie Richert was born with Ichthyosis confetti, a defect in the keratin 10 protein, responsible for the structural framework of the skin, hair and nails – leaving the 23-year-old without the final layer of her skin.
