Awkward police bodycam video shows the moment a Florida woman was arrested by sheriff’s deputies after a damning Crime Stoppers tip led authorities to solve a decades-old missing child’s case that she was allegedly involved in. According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office in Kentucky, Debra Newton was busted after she allegedly absconded with her 3-year-old child more than four decades ago, leaving her husband – and the father of her child – Joseph Newton, in the dust. Newton’s daughter, Michelle Marie Newton, was first reported missing in April 1983, and was raised under a different name. Debra was arraigned on a felony charge of custodial interference, which according to WDRB, carries no statute of limitations in the state of Kentucky. She was released on bond posted by a family member.
