At Château Phélan Ségur in Bordeaux's St.-Estèphe appellation, managing director Veronique Dausse invited us in for a private tour of this well-appointed 1860s château, including a visit to the Irish Room, which honors the heritage of Irishman Bernard Phelan, who bought the estate in 1805 and whose son, Frank, built the château.
