Health Secretary Sajid Javid said there are 10 confirmed cases of people in hospital in England with the Omicron variant, but was not able to confirm any deaths. Speaking to BBC Breakfast he urged the public to book their booster jabs, and explained why it is important to ramp up the programme, despite low levels of hospital admission.
