Gary Lineker returned to English football in 1989 when he arrived at Tottenham Hotspur. Lineker scored 67 in 105 league games for Spurs, and also won the FA Cup in 1991. On the way to the final, Lineker scored twice in the 3-1 semi-final win against arch-rivals Arsenal. Lineker finished first and second in the top goalscorers table in two of his three seasons at Spurs.
