Shocked neighbours capture fireworks let off at Hornchurch Leisure Centre

A peaceful night in a residential street in Hornchurch was disturbed by an unauthorised bonfire and fireworks display. The fireworks were let off from a mound of earth left on a field behind Wallis Close after the redevelopment of the Harrow Lodge Leisure Centre. The leisure centre is now upping security patrols due to concerns that the mound has created CCTV blind spots. Residents say antisocial behaviour is the latest in a series of problems caused by the mound.
