Danish-born architect <a href="http://www.big.dk/#projects">Bjarke Ingels of BIG</a> invited us to his New York office to discuss his innovative approach to tricky urban sites, focusing specifically on his ongoing <a href="http://vancouverhouse.ca">Vancouver House</a> project on Canada's West Coast. The scheme, part of <a href="http://westbankcorp.com/" >Westbank Corp's family of developments</a>, is a residential tower accompanied by a lower mixed-use complex, slated to become the fourth tallest building in its home town. Construction is expected to complete in 2018.
