Purported ransom note contains chilling details about Savannah Guthrie’s missing mother

A purported ransom note in the disappearance of “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie’s mother Nancy contained chilling details from the night she was allegedly abducted, authorities said. The note, sent to a local Arizona news station, contained details about the 84-year-old matriarch’s home near Tucson and what she was wearing on the night of her disappearance, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos told CBS News, although he declined to give any specifics. It isn’t clear if the purported note sent to the CBS affiliate in Arizona, which chose not to report the exact contents of it, is the same that was sent to TMZ on February 3rd. The note to TMZ provided a deadline for the ransom payment in Bitcoin for her safe return, and implied something sinister would befall Nancy if the towering sum wasn’t paid.
