Kochi: Hundreds of flood victims have been gathering in Ernakulam Collectorate for days, seeking a solution for the delay in receiving the compensation they were assured after the mid-August floods. An aged woman fainted near the Grievance Redressal cell in the Collectorate after waiting for hours. Though months have passed, the victims are yet to get a clarification as to why the delay continues.
