A couple from Alconbury have shared their pain after still not being able to move back into their home after five months. Lee Matthews and Lorraine Matthews, who live on the Brookside, opposite Alconbury Brook, were evacuated from their home, two days after Christmas Day in 2020. Five months on and they have still been able to move back home, which inside is still an empty shell and they are currently living, in rented accommodation.
