U.S. Senate candidate Scott Brown (R-NH) and U.S. House candidate Hollie Noveletsky (R-NH) attended an event with veterans in Londonderry, NH, ahead of the state's Sept. 8, 2026 primary. The candidates discussed campaign priorities, such as expanding primary care options for New Hampshire veterans, immigration reform, and reducing the federal deficit. Brown criticized his Republican primary opponent, John Sununu, and Democratic opponent Sen. Chris Pappas (NH), arguing that he was the only candidate with military and diplomatic experience and the only candidate who could stand up to Senate Majority Leader John Thune or President Trump if a bill was not in New Hampshire's best interests. Brown said, "I am the only person here who doesn't owe anybody anything." The nonpartisan Cook Political Report with Amy Walter rated the November general election "Lean Democrat."
