House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) said that he had not violated House rules by refusing to schedule a “minority day” hearing for Republican witnesses because the rules didn’t say he had to do so by a “particular day” — even as the committee prepared to vote on articles of impeachment.
