Cross-border payments still need improvement, but they are faster, more efficient and more secure than ever. One of the foundations for its success was started almost 20 years ago by a group called the International Payments Framework Association (IPFA). The group was sunset last year, but as Visa’s Alan Koenigsberg told Karen Webster, its work lives on.
