T'puram: The maiden service of the KSRTC's Electric bus was disrupted at Cherthala. On its first long distance service from Thiruvananthapuram to Ernakulam, the battery of the bus was drained out at Cherthala. The engine of another electric bus shut off automatically when it reached Vyttila. The KSRTC decided to start the operation of 10 electric buses from Monday following the successful services of the electric bus to and fro Sabarimala.
