Army Secretary and Acting Chief of Staff Testify on 2027 Budget Request and Iran War, Part 2

U.S. Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll and acting Chief of Staff Gen. Christopher LaNeve testified on President Trump's 2027 budget request before the House Armed Services Committee amid the ongoing conflict with Iran. Several topics were addressed, including military and civilian workforce challenges, equipment upgrades and modernization efforts, the defense industrial base, military readiness, and the importance of public-private partnerships.
