President Trump said that he is reviewing a new Iranian proposal aimed at ending the ongoing conflict, noting he expects to receive the exact wording soon. Speaking before boarding Air Force One, Trump said, “I’ll let you know about it later.” Iranian outlets Tasnim and Fars reported that Tehran has sent a 14-point counterproposal via Pakistan in response to a previous nine-point U.S. plan. Pakistan has played a role in facilitating past U.S.-Iran talks.
