"We don't call the people we love the most when we're in trouble, [police officers are] who we call. And they come, and they show up. They need our help, our support now more than ever," said Nestride Yumga, a D.C. resident who gained popularity after she was seen in a now-viral Breitbart News video dismantling the Black Lives Matter narratives outside the White House. Yumga was at a police appreciation event on Saturday handing out free lunches to D.C. police.
