Autism Town Hall

Research has shown that early intervention and involvement in recreational activities can have positive, long-term impacts for people on the autism spectrum – giving them the chance to practice social skills and increase self-confidence. As part of our most recent town hall, guest host Sandra Viktorova was joined by autism advocate Haley Moss, and UM-NSU CARD case manager Jennifer Feinstein, to explore these benefits. Plus, we hear the stories of four young people on the autism spectrum that have been helped through early engagement in music and sports.
