Forest cover in the US increased by 7.3 million hectares between 1990 and 2020. That’s equivalent to 13.6 million football fields but these trees are under increasing threat from climate change. In September 2022, UpLink, 1t.org US and American Forests launched a new challenge to find innovative solutions to help conserve, restore and grow trees in the US.
