White House Daily Briefing

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt and Tom Homan, President Trump's "border czar," held a briefing to discuss Trump's immigration agenda and the first 100 days of his second term. Press Secretary Leavitt began the briefing by describing Mr. Trump's first 100 days as the "most monumental and historic of any administration in American history," noting that by the end of the day, President Trump planned to have signed more than 140 executive orders. Mr. Homan said the administration had created "the most secure border in the history of this nation," and expected more than 139,000 people to have been deported from the U.S. in the president's first 100 days.
