Grim LA discovery: Cats and dogs found dumped in trash

Pets are being massacred in South Los Angeles where animal advocates said they are finding cats and dogs dismembered and dumped in trash bags left for dead in alleys. Volunteers with a local cat rescue said, while they are out taking care of stray cats, they are seeing some horrible things like abused and beaten dogs and cats along remains of animals stuffed in trashbags. The volunteers said every year they trap hundreds of stray cats in the area to spay and neuter them. “We’d be walking down the street and just find a garbage bag with a dog limb,” Amanda Preston, a volunteer with Friends of Normie, told Fox 11 while describing the horror.
