Scott Miller talked about his book [Agent 110: An American Spymaster and the German Resistance in WWII], in which he recalls Allen Dulles' efforts to embolden the German resistance against the Third Reich. Dulles, who would later lead the Central Intelligence Agency, assumed the code-name Agent 110 and surreptitiously entered Switzerland in November 1942. While trying to learn more about the Nazi operations, he discovered a group of Germans planning to overthrow Hitler.
