The Jakob’s Ferry Stragglers, based in the Monongahela River Valley, started live streaming in the early days of the pandemic from their Stockdale living room with just an iPhone. What started out as a way to earn some tips to get through a difficult time turned into an opportunity to connect with a larger audience allowing the band to take bluegrass music to a new generation of fans.
