The exhibition, titled "Gazing Toward Olympus: The Ideal Life of the Ancient Greeks," features over 100 ancient Greek cultural relics from the Naples National Archaeological Museum in Italy.Hosted at the Anhui Museum, the exhibition also presents exquisite cultural relics from ancient China, forging a bridge that connects the civilizations of Greece and China.SOUNDBITE 1 (English): ANNALISA LO MONACO, Associate Professor of Greek and Roman Archaeology at Sapienza University of Rome"As you can see, we are able to see the yard marble pieces, some tall statues more than two meters high, and vessel ceramics with a lot of histories, ceremonies, myths, religion and so on. And the bronzes and arms, which are very important for the life of every citizen in Greece. And we hope these items collected all together are able to transmit our culture.We have in the exhibition that contains mainly Greek artworks, also some artworks from the Anhui Museum from the Han Dynasty (202 BC-25 AD).
