Mochas are a combination of two of the world's most popular products, coffee and chocolate. However, some experts believe there is a right way of making the drink, starting with finding the right ingredients. Polly Woodruff of Divine Chocolate recommends chocolate with a “clean snap of smooth, glossy and creamy” chocolate with a "silky sheen." Next, place the chocolate in a jug, pour warm milk over it and stir to create a glossy liquid. Then, make an espresso shot before pouring the hot chocolate into the coffee. Use cocoa powder and other variations of flavors to give the coffee a signature twist. If you prefer a vegan-friendly mocha, use plant-based milk and dark chocolate to create a tasty, feel-good treat.
